Vic you reminded me I once removed the exhaust on my bantam screamed around the block, great satisfaction everyone should do that at least once IMHO.

Decisions, decisions. You’re spoilt for choice mate. They’re all great machines.
Like your bikes Vic. Every year for 2 weeks I became a saddle tramp and traveled either by myself or with other mates round Europe mainly Alps and Gorges met many folk saw many sites but alas these days are over. I believe you have two main things in this life things to look forward too and memories as you get older you have more of the later. So look forward to riding the bike go and make memories and save the rainy days for the lathe.

So where are all the pens?
Not turned a thing myself for well over 4 months now I have just seemed to have lost interest. Came very close to selling up but the Mrs and a couple of Forum members talked me out of it.
I have spent a fair bit of time in the shed recently with my Grandkids who wanted to do Pen Turning as part of the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme and this has rekindled my interest a little.
No more bike projects on the agenda at the moment so it may be time to start spinning again. (When it warms up a bit).
it will soon have sawdust all over it

Make one of these Vic, you’ll use you lathe plenty then. It’s made of timber.
This one is the 1962 Ariel Leader Paul. Same engine and frame as the Arrow but a little more covered in with tin work. I have got to do a complete re-spray and engine overhaul . This one is a joint effort with my cousin Nigel.
