These are a mixture of Ash, Bloodwood, Oak and Wenge from a couple of segmented pens I turned a while back.

Crumbs if I saved all my shavings I wouldn't be able to get in me workshop especially after a bout of bowls & vases LOL lovely blank by the way

Beautiful. I've done some by sticking the chippings to the tube and building up layers but that is absolutely superb. Like David, I might be converted to plastic if this keeps on :thumbs:

I recall seeing similar blanks made by paulm and wanting to try this out, seeing this just rekindled my fire .. Love it .. :thumbs:
