Yes safe enough with this one dad That is a stunner for sure.

Take a guess
I knew I couldn't go wrong with you using Burr Elm :thumbs:

Indeed mate, totally top banana :banana::banana::banana::banana::banana: six for good measure :bwink:

I cut some Elm burr up on Friday, only a small chunk but inspired by seeing this I think I'll drill & glue a couple of blanks up this afternoon ready for next week

Elm burr is almost always safe, I like the Empress, it was the kit of choice for my 8 year old granddaughter. Lovely pen, woody.

No, Nope its a tacky empress thingy. Where they even got the bling wrong, Woody, don't get me wrong, as always its a fine piece of masterful woodwork, but that piece of gopping semi tranlucent plastic in the clip, who are they trying to kid, and the clip inset brass hieroglyphic strip which invariably falls out. Topped off with that lovely black plastic thread, works on a Jr Gents but not on a try to be bling pen. Other than that the kits great.

Back to your winning ways with that one mate and like David says you've managed to make that Empress kit look very respectable
