Hello,

I’m not new on here, but I’ve been on holiday for a few years!

Quite a few names I recognise, many I don’t and some names vanished. Holiday consisted of a trip to the divorce courts, moving house twice, more importantly moving workshops twice, the last time into a self built “shed” at the bottom of the garden, but more time consuming lay, stripping rebuilding and extending a house back and front.

I used to make pens for a living for about five years but returned to mainstream employment but after three years of answering to idiots in the corporate world who, if they got paid by the size of their ego, would be millionaires, I’m thinking about returning to full time turning. Time will tell.
Thought you might like to see my workshop, nearly complete, just the shiplap cladding to put on some time.

Great to see you back and the font of knowledge that you have. Yes many have come and gone like many forums it seems to be a trend.
