So today I had to go looking for a chuck part that was attached to a piece of wood but I came across a pencil kit from the last Daventry wood working show, a guess would be 2014. I have the web site and part number but they are not giving me any results when I do a web search.

I was just wondering if anyone could help with bushings for the pencil in question

web sit is all the www's oenitsuk.com
part number is RZ-21#-G

This pencil has thin tub's so I'm guessing it's a slim line pencil

I've all so found some pen blanks round one's in blue lucky me:banana::banana::thumbs:

I turn using tapered bushes and as Pierre stated measure as you turn why waste a kit even if it may be a poor quality one it is good for practice

Can I ask what is a tapered bushes.

James

Instead of the normal bushes hat have a step one for going into the tube and the second diameter for the pen size they have a taper which means that you need to measure the pen fitting and turn the blank down to that size. There is a warning when turning pens blanks using the tapered bushes and that is never over tighten the blank in place otherwise you can splay the end of the tube out as well as possibly split the blank

If this is of any help to you just give me call - 07718 747700
