Figured Red Gum if it is an Aussie Timber. I have a lot of Pink Ivory its not that IMHO, nor Sumac cause Sumac has flecks in the grain, Has the pinkish appearance of Tasmanian Myrtle if its an Aussie timber. Put a label on it great find smooth grain takes a beaut finish makes a nice pen. Not like any Camphor Laurel I have seen cause when finished it glows and the colour is definite bands with greens whites etc.

Kind regards Peter.
