Hi Penturners, I have found this mandrel in my filing cabinets after a lot of searching, I need a little bit more information on whether this is for Closed end Pens or as I Googled ..it seems to look like a bit similar to Duck Call Style mandrels sold in USA... If anyone knows Seller or has instructions for this Mandrel would be greatly appreciated. only allows ONE picture ( I had different angles to identify it) !!

I have bought one of the Pin Closed end Mandrels from Pencrafts so I have a template to make future sizes..

Just seen this Simon.

Yes expanding pen mandrell, expensive and can only be used with a limited amount of kits.

Pin chucks are the simplest things to use and make which would do allot of pens for the price of this doing just a few.

The problem it that to do a closed end on a simple fountain pen the size difference between the cap and body is too big and would generally need two expanding mandrel sizes.
