Identify Second Pictures
To me it looks like Honduran mahogany.
Grain lines and brownish colour look like that when turned, may be wrong and sure someone will let us know otherwise.

Just looks like a pink picture of Oak to me!
If you can find a similar looking wood here it may help with an identification.

Does this photo help I wonder? I presume you shot the pen on a white background, so all I've done is remove the pink from the whole photo for you. Is the wood colour any better?
