I doubt that any one would want to make one of these, but thought I would post it anyway.
This was made as a teaching aid about 6 years ago. We used to do a light activated alarm project at school, and one of the teachers wanted an example of how light / dark activation could be used in the real world.
It's a bit battered now, and we don't do the project at school any more, but I was a bit miffed at finding it in the bin pile yesterday.
I stuck a bit of tape over the LDR, so you could see it lit.
A bit of bent Ali tube, turned Beech stem, pallet wood, part of a transformer casing, a pound shop light, and a vac formed shade!
