That's very generous of you Paul but quite unnecessary. The nibs you sent me have been most useful in helping me understand the inner workings of fountain pens and I feel much more confident now about taking them apart and selecting replacement Nibs.

Neil, I have replaced the nib in one of my completed barons (the one I cocked up at your fundaiser) with one of the ones Paul sent me and I will bring the original baron unit down to Harrogate for you.

Is the plated metal outer part of the nib section still intact or do you need a replacement for that too? I may have a spare kit if you do.
