I saw the pen today!

I was quite pleased with the way it looked. The Walnut body had darkened slightly since it was made, but this gave it a bit more depth to the grain. The finish was great, it had that look of a well used pen, no wear (as in damage), but a nice patina, quite deep and rich.

The end cap was unscrewed to reveal........ NOTHING!

He's binned the whole working end of the pen!:vangry::rant::rant::rant:

At the very least, I would have expected it to come back complete (in some way), so I could inspect the damage. I would also have liked to see how his mutilation had affected the plating, but this is not to be, as it is in landfill!
