Yes I hope to post some pens soon I just been really busy trying to make a kit less pen. So far I've cocked up four or five blanks and on Friday I thought I had finished the pen when the blank snapped and I had to order another blank. Thanks to whcreations he posted a replacement as I had a order in the works.

it has to be said, making a kitless pen has such a big learning curve that I really wasn't ready for

So The latest hump in the road was the new blank wood color is like black and white.

so the barrel was a nice walnut color and the new cap is a very red color so I've had to stain it with walnut ink and sepia ink and I now think I have a good match.

Just take things nice and slow it is not a race, think ahead of what you want to achieve and how to perform those tasks. Yes it does take practice as well as a few failures but I am sure you will get there in the end. Look forward to some of your work
