Totally off topic but just had a discussion with the wife about imperial vs metric and we both came to the conclusion that imperial is so much better than metric in a number of ways including availability of a larger range of sizes, like in drill sizes for example?
Just thought I’d throw it out to the collective. Or am I just a dinosaur 🦕 😀?

I can cope with both, especially at small measurements, and in fact I tend to prefer metric in the workshop. Dividing ny 10 is so much easier than dividing by 64. When it gets big though, I tend to revert to imperial. I have no conception about how many kilometres it is to such and such a place, but I have a rough idea in miles.

I use all forms of measurement metric fraction imperial and decimal imperial, the last as I measure in 1,000th of an inch. Drill bits in metric can be brought in 0.01mm increments.
I use imperial, metric, number and letter drill bits the first two I have two sets of each the second set are ground for drilling materials like brass which would normally snatch when using standard 118deg grind
