I can cope with both, especially at small measurements, and in fact I tend to prefer metric in the workshop. Dividing ny 10 is so much easier than dividing by 64. When it gets big though, I tend to revert to imperial. I have no conception about how many kilometres it is to such and such a place, but I have a rough idea in miles.
