this is the second attempt at decorating with the airbrush and having brought my new one which is a better quality I needed something to have a good go at.

Anyway this is my attempt at Industrial piece do you think I should follow through with this theme.

The bowl I believe is Maple of Sycamore, sealed with sander sealer before airbrushing the Pattern and finally a couple of coats of Acrylic Satin Lacquer

Thank you one and all. Just got back from one of my rare ventures into the town centre or should that have been city centre, had to go and have my eyes tested with the wife so took the opportunity to pop into the art shop to see what other goodies I can find and possibly use to decorate my turnings with.
"I just want to see what they have darling" was my comment to her well in we go and yes you guessed it I found lots but was a good boy and only came out with THIS little set to experiment with as well as a rubber which looks like a pencil wood on the outside with the rubber running through where the lead should be

Our daughter who lives near us and Wilma spent a few hours with new pressing ,cutting, decorating great cards. One of their techniques intrigued me and I will try it on a pen.. Our near Chinese neighbors invited us to a ripper of a meal that went for two hours. Reason to say farewell to the daughters mother in law returning to China after four months. The daughters nearly 5 mths baby the reason for the long visit. Mrs Tang said at the Burns Club dinner she treasures the pen and the beaut card as outstanding gifts.

I have trudged the art supply, quilt venues and shops I understand your excitement also a wonderful way to share time with the wife Derek.

Peter.
