Well as the title Grumpy inpired me to have a go at making a carving knife to go with only My Flexi cut knife. I kept the handle shape the same as the flexi cut one as I am comfortable using it.
Dug around my oddments box for the wood and as Grumpy this is made from a sabre saw blade. It still needs a little more stropping, I think I'll give it to the wife as she knows how to get a strop on:devil::whistling::whistling::whistling:

:funny::funny: Know what you mean about the strop. Sometimes followed by no dinner, a night in the huffy bed or both :funny:

Nice looking knife, Brian has inspired a potential epidemic of home mades I think!

What with Matt the pathfinder in excellence Brian with his blades Derek has caught the enthusiasm need a special section for these most useful sharps. The design should give great control Derek neat finish on the blade.Wonderful value adding.:thumbs:
