It’s a pain on Iphone not so much on IPad
Guess we’re just going to have to get used to it.
Do we have a choice? Other than never upgrading.
There is a lot of stuff on Apple iPads I have never used from the original unit I brought 8 years ago, would still be using it but half the stuff on it wouldn’t download on to it.. just a way of making money, keep updating until they update the old units out of action. Simples.
That said, my old one is great for use in my man cave.
Not really an option if you’ve used iOS. :wink: Android works but it’s not as intuitive and many if not most of the tablets are slower than iPads. Still a good option though if you’re on a tight budget as the cheapest iPad is still £319.
Since it is a free upgrade seems to me the new features might be considered a bonus which you don’t have to use. Main reason to upgrade is to keep security options up to date. I do find Android sluggish and less intuitive but then I am far more familiar with iOS.
