I couldn't help it. I needed a handle for a new 3/8 detail gouge. Should be able to pick this one out of my pile of tools. Mahogany and Maple.

Terry magnificent tool handle. I have great respect for this sized tool I guy I met years ago at a Turnaround held in a country area located in a huge hall with heaps of lathes we lived in chef provided food and lived and breathed turning for three days. There I met a guy local to that area who did all his major turning up to four foot diameter with that sized detail gouge. I was gobsmacked but he pointed out how he felt and decided to go this way with infinite patience turning huge platters and bowls he never loses any burled or crazy stuff small bites consistent awareness. His work averaged up round a thousand bucks an item. Lesson for me I was equipped with huge chisels up until then.

Yes you will always find this special tool one to admire in any company. Thanks for showing.

Terry, you are very fortunate to be separated from our resident tool-kleptomaniac by the North Atlantic Ocean ... If Terry M got within 100 miles of that it would be history!

Very pretty and far too posh for my workshop!
