It takes ages to glue up laminated blanks

Glued up purple heart and oak.
Cut it into 1cm bits.
Glued them back together in a herring bone pattern.
Cut it back to square.
Turned as normal.
Pleased.

Try a 360 herringbone and see how long that takes to glue together :funny:

Mind it takes longer to sperate the bast*dr from the dining table :rolling:

Nice shape to the pen and a good looking finish.
