I know the Pot has to be converted but after reading through the amazing Forum I know it’s going to be fairly easy.
After seeing the blanks and pens you have all been making, plus the posts about air bubbles etc decided it was something I had to get ..... so it is all your fault ?????

I have a feeling that we will get the blame for vacuum chambers next. :-))

When I got my pressure tank I borrowed a silent compressor. Fantastic thing you could hardly hear it, unfortunately it could not get the pressure tank anywhere near the psi that I needed.
I ended up with one of the very noisy compressors and it still makes me jump when it cuts in. If your one works well I might invest in one.

I had a look at the exploded diagram of this compressor it appeared to have two cylinders and may use a diaphram. I have a similar unit I will use tomorrow I bought that was designed for nail gun use but even more important is known as a dry air result that I wanted to drive a small handpiece at 350.000 revs that uses dental handpiece bearings etc and driven like them by a tiny impeller attached to the burr shaft. I later obtained a large Dental Compressor with a drier attached that I use for that now. I gave my conventional compressor to a mens shed,to much of a good thing.

I was going to buy a pressure pot - but these paint pots are about half the price and will go up to 60 psi!

Presumably you replace the sprayer hose with a blanking cap?

Sorry, I did the above post off my phone and posted it before it was done.
The RED arrow is one of the two openings on the Valve, I take it this needs to be closed off.
The blue arrow is the outlet from the tank with the tube inside.

Just wanted to clarify I am changing / capping the rights bits before I go and get the parts.
Oh and I also need to get some quick release couplings for the valve :thinks:

All sorted.
Took the lid to our local Hydraulics Hose place, explained what I wanted to do and it was all sorted along with a new (better) hose and quick connections in under 10 min and £20 :thumbs:
Just waiting on the compressor now :rolling:
