Aftrernoon,

Just emerged from the workshop. Hasten to add I haven't made all of the pens today - but over a few days!

Comments and critiques as always.

Most of the woods are easily recognisable - but a few may not be. Wavy click pens - two from bottom Silver Birch and Olive, above that Grass Tree, above Muhuhu, three from top, American Oak. In the Bullets, two from bottom is Rippled Ash, five up is a stunning Oak Burr, two from top is Muhuhu. Bottom Epsilon is Red Angelin, four up is Grass Tree.

Thanks for the unusual blanks goes to Dave Hilton (known to many as Ligna Terrae) who has deep knowledge and endless patience in wood discussions. (davehilton58@gmail.com)

I love them all but especially second from top first photo...is it muhuhu you say? Have no idea what that is ...but I still like it..:drool:

Chris I would shop at your market before Tesco et al.Please tell Dave he provided a wonderful assortment of delightful timbers. You made a great job of making and thanks for your presentation.

Peter.Its 2.30 am Thursday right now I am too tired to go over all of them. I am impressed mate.

Afternoon,

Sorry didn't pick up your question until now. The pens are Artisan Zen rollerballs - from Craft supplies (US). (Artisan Zen Rollerball Pen Kit | Pen Making | Craft Supplies USA). Really easy pen to make with a magnetic cap which posts when in use. Not exactly light or slim but it feels good in the hand.

Also available from Zen Pen Kits - but they don't tend to hold a big stock.
