That is the best pair of candlesticks I've seen, beautiful, the only thing I don't like which unfortunately you couldn't do a lot about is the metal inserts for the candle.

Have a look at this site Roy, there are better walkthroughs, I just can't remember where they are. This will give you the general idea.

Thank you all.

Thank you for putting that up Peter I was trying to remember the one that I saw as it explained how to make sure the grain ended up lining up.

I will have to do some drawing on how the wood was cut and how to rotate them, this I can not do for a couple of weeks

I did some inside out pens foe Rod when he was alive I have a feeling I got the diarrhea from the IPA init?
