back in 2013 I bought a Jet AFS-500 Air Filtration System from Axminster and in 2015 I had to get a replacement circuit board under the guarantee, the board has just gone again. Before I shell out 60£ for another replacement board has anyone had the same problem and if so did you find a cheaper supplier?

Common problem mate never heard of a cheaper solution however if you could use a fixed speed would it not bypass the need for such a dicky board?

Didn't know it was a problem, do now and worth knowing thanks..

I would try what Neil has posted, if that doesn't work I would do as Peter said.

obtain a variable speed controller and wire the fan directly doing away with the dodgy board, it means wireing in a cable to gain access to the controller but I think it would be an option.

Advantage receiver, fantastic result. Beaut to have a clever son who bothered to document and video his victory over adversity. Thanks. Enquiring minds combined so far to give you Pierre food for thought.

Peter.
