I did this one a while ago (Mk i) and I wasn't sure about the finial, bit fat and not too elegant.

So I thought I'd have another go so here is Mk II, Sycamore and Ebony, comments and crits welcome.

Phill the thinner stem could allow the placing of rings over it better liked them both as well.

You're right Phil that MKII is very good but I also like MKI as well. MKII is progression to perfection. :thumbs:

Very nice indeed the second with the thinner finial does look that much better
