This piece of bamboo was a right pig to turn but I got there in the end the last bit turned like a dream I have given it a polish finish eee friction polish and woodturners stick not a wood for the faint hearted

I had a sharp intake of breath when I read the title, so not at all surprised it was a challenge ...

... but WOW! What a result! Looks a bit like sharkskin in the photo.
