Hi,
I get a bit confused with the variances of the Jnr Gent. Timberbits do a Jb gent which is a Jnr gent upgraded but with slightly larger tubes, but in all other aspects appear to be the same. I have found them okay and at a reasonable price. I was having problems fitting international standard refills to the fountain pen, but found that if I ground down the finger grip thread section that screws into the barrel section, the refills are okay for fit. I hope that is the model you are talking about.
Regards Jim

Timberbits do a Jnr Gent 2 it's called Casteller AFAIR, it's not as nice as one Eamonn gave me as the threads are black.

Here is a photo of the two, Dayacom and Timberbits.

The gentII :thinks:s it the gentII or the Gent I? Or is it the JR Gent?

:thinks:the Gent is the most copied kit in the pen turning fraternity. So a Gent is not just a Gent.

Take a look at this link. http://www.penturners.co.uk/showthread.php?t=10514&highlight=Review

Oh and there is the apprentice Gent...

Depends on what you want and what you want to pay and how long you want to wait to get them. The better quality ones are still the Dayacom kits, but the original ones and not the painted threads.

Like other have said Timberbits for the Jr Gent 2 / Casttelle :thinks::thinks:

The timberbits castella gent II is the same as The TM Gent here in the UK. I have a selection of them leftover as I brought a load from Billy for a school leaving presents. Got a few spares as well, never know when I might need them. But if you are stuck pm me.

We will soon be launching a Jr Gent version of the Alpha. Same tubes and sizings but with a plain 1mm centerband accent and plain cap finial. First plating option will be Rhodium with Ti Gold Accents.

Hi Dan the tubes are the same ID and OD and the cap tube is the same length....the body tube is shorter by quite a bit...if all the other components are the same length then why's the tube shorter?? I think it might be worth the gamble...
