Pretty good light-coloured timber:) Finished with CA. Did anyone else notice that the threads on JR Gent are a bit stiff and squeaky? I just add a bit of finishing wax to each thread in these pens, and they work smoothly then.

Yes it is a squeaky thread that improves out of sight I get scared it might then unwind easily and move around but IU mostly panic with FPens. Lovel pen Ilya.

Thank you all for the comments! But did anyone read what I asked in the post? This is what I find for me as well, looking only at pictures, getting distracted from text :)

I did and yes (but the pictures are really good and distracted me once I started typing :thumbs:) some threads are squeaky and easily resolved with a bit of polish, but the last lot of Gents I did was really poor and had to be tapped out again and the thread was not that good.

We are hoping that our Dan can resolve that and give us the quality we want here in the UK.:thumbs:
