Brian geographically we are both vast distances from sources for sure each of our feelings are coloured by isolation costs not the least of them govt inspired my comment is valid they from the seller are very reasonably priced a further observation is a large number of them are used by forum members. Now a firm over here I have a habit of saying with regard to hardware stuff its the firm you buy twice from on the other hand our Aldi sourced TV,s have given us sterling quality viewing and reliability. Also bear in mind I am a happy hobbyist with no axe to grind, I am also very aware that Canada borders USA and has so many procurement headaches related to purchases freight parcel management etc that are both hard to bear or even understand. In my experience on this forum I have never heard the kit being observed spoken about being rubbish over all. There seems to be an active market and satisfaction IMHO.
Interesting fact is I try not to be controversial or terribly rude to anyone my reference is replace a fault fix it quick the cost in this and many instances is relatively small, eg I do read so often a pen blank blows up and so many well meaning suggestions come flooding turn it down to the brass something I have never done so my outlook appears to be out of sync there. I would be interested to see with this matter a pic the solution and what can we do to test our pens, how do you feel about being part of the solution mate your experience is needed.
