Finished this today after preparing it last week wood was given to me by Ed (naxie) i believe it was Beech? The top barrel is segmented using two different pieces of acrylic a blue and a green, and Blackwood at the edges. The pen is a JR Gents Chrome Rollerball that is finished with a few coats of CA ..

I really can't remember Jim, I must start writing down what I give to who for times like these. :goesred:

I'll take a look later and see if I can match it up.

You've done a great job Jim, lovely segmenting. I seem to remember when you got it you said you had a segmentation project in mind.:thinks:

That reminds me, I've got to post some blanks to Graham! I really do need to start writing things down.:goesred:

Jim, Jim! Please stop putting such awful stuff on this forum to offend our poor long-suffering community ... Just send it to me and I will dispose of it appropriately. No, don't thank me - I'm willing to make the sacrifice!

The only thing wrong with that beauty is that I don't have my grubby paws on it.

I'm not in the same league sir....as you well know..:goesred:

The pens i have seen coming from your gaf is as good as any pens on here Ed, that Sierra Pine Cone is up there among the best without doubt, i think you see good in others more than your own, maybe a bit more self confidence would help as you have it with the pen making my friend, no doubt ..

That's a stunner Jim, reminds me of a Stained Glass Window.
