And that's exactly what it is :banana:
Laminated plywood box, with a metal lid and a gas welded "aerial".
Bit of sanding and a seal on the ply and a quick polish on the lid to show the brass weld.
Not pretty, but it's not meant to be. This, as most of you know, is just me being me.

It's still very artistic even if you call it junk. A skilled use of materials, what ya going to use it for? :thumbs:

Either that, or what George said. A biscuit barrel as i have completely by accident made the inside big enough for jaffa cakes:funny:

Quirky and very different I like it the only thing very well turned. I would change is the handle by adding a nut on the bolt, just thinking out loud, OK I'll get my coat:whistling::whistling::whistling:.

I did not know it had finished, still on Quest.

It could be a jar for peanuts, or walnuts or Brazil nuts, some kind of nut.. pun intended..
