I was going to do another one out of corian in fact it is still on the lathe see you in a mo LOL

It's a sorby tool. If we are definitely talking about the same tool it also gets called a pointy tool?

There are two different types one is a round bar ground on three sides which is the one I used the other one is square steel ground from opposite corners so you end up with a diamond shape tip both will work

Like the smiling face was going thru boxes of weird tools I have bought over the years about to hoik a number now I will just regrind a few.

They are stuck on a sacrificial bit of wood that is either fixed to a screw chuck, faceplate or chuck I use double sided carpet tape turn it to round then re-stick it off centre how much depends what effect you want to achieve hope this helps Steven
