When I was turning the last poly gem pen the light come on save the dust when turning this stuff it comes of in a powder form so I saved some and this is the end result of the little experiment I wish I had saved some from the other colors now.

All I done was made a few cuts with the point of the skew thin super glue and rubbed the red dust in and applied more super glue and finished with the skew chisel yes not very evenly spaced out but it was an experiment and done in a rush just to see if it worked and  lunch was being dished up I'm quite pleased with the results and it has cheered up a bit of sad wood so save your dust LOL the same Idea could be used to make a pen look is if it was made with an insert as in segmented
