I don't think I had shown these before so forgive me if I had. I turned these just for fun a while ago both sold before I even got them to a rally. The second one was sold 3 minutes after completion which for me is a record.

That is my favourite one as well wish I had not sold it but you can only keep so many

They're nice Derek. Where did you get the inspiration for those from?:wink:

The shapes where there all the time just had to let them out. I put a piece of wood on the lathe and start with a very basic idea from looking at the wood at what I want and change it as I go depending on what happens or shows through. I think the only piece that I planned from start to finish was my piece I sent to Ally Pally for the getwoodworking competition and got a third place see below.
