OK, just how long does it take from start to finish of a project well I decided to finish this project which I started before Christmas last year and have just found it in a carrier bag in the workshop after it being moved from pillar to post. Spent yesterday drilling holes and today sealing and denibbing once the sealer had dried before they get painted which will be the job to do tomorrow. The painting may take a few days before I can think about assembly.

Am I the only one to find things like this in the darkest corners of the workshop. The photo shows the parts being masked off so that I have unsealed or painted areas that will need gluing later on.

Hello Derek

You are certainly not alone that's for sure. I have made a promise that I am not going to start anything new until all of the on going projects I own have been completed. Ummm! how long will that take :thinks: Looks good though Derek.

Cheers

Looking good but you must be joking Derek,

I have at least 20 part finished carvings, a couple of half done marquetry pictures, unfinished walking sticks and a hell of a lot more besides. :whistling:

I have a part finished plaque, waiting for a set of antlers belonging to my mother, that have has been on the back boiler since about 2010

(The antlers were inherited by the way - they're not hereditary. There's a subtle difference):whistling:
