I have just joined the group and feel a bit out of my depth. I started pen turning when we were just coming out of lockdown during Covid. I had never done any woodwork or turning so it has taken me a bit of time get the feel of using a lathe and chisels etc. i have however, managed to produce some pens, all gifts for my family and friends who probably don’t want to openly criticise them. But I feel happy that I made something that actually works.
