I took the 2 photos with the same light, same camera, same distance, same settings,
SAME EVERYTHING!! Why so different??

The difference in the photo looks like it's a white balance issue. Is your white balance set to auto?

Superb as always Angelo. Lighting on pics don't take anything away from the quality of the finish, fit and quality of the pen mate.

The only thing I can think of is what Alan said, when you zoom in it's changing the white balance so changing the colour (Or color whichever you want..)

but it's not happening no matter what I try

Lovely pen, how do you seal the surface to prevent oxidation?

Neil,
I don't use any sealer. I let it make it's own ''patina''.
I tell the customer that, and they can polish it up
with car polishing compound if they like.
When it ''oxidizes'' it mostly just gets dull looking.
I tried lacquer once and I didn't care for it.
