Well a knock at the door sent me to heaven again. Some great pieces of wood including oak, beech, mahogany, sapele, tulip wood and some which I think is cherry maybe someone can tell me if I am right.

I know how it feels, I made a steering wheel boss for a local chap's canal boat and he rang me up this morning, would I like his cherry tree yes I says thinking 'A bowl for him and a bowl for me' I'll nip up in the car and get it. 'You'll need more than the car' he said 'I stopped creating fire wood when it got to 30 cms thick and its a lot thicker at the base its about 10 metre long and it was huge' .... so it looks like the tractor again.

Derek when I saw the title I was expecting a rendition of the Bob Dylan song or yourself dressed up in a Western get up so pleased to see all that nice wood.
