As most of you know me from the scroll saw section l have a announcement to make, l have been approach by a group to help out at S2R they are setting up a woodworking afternoon mental and disabled people. {may be longer}

l hate to ask you but we are starting a Mental heath group for woodworking thats people with learning difficulties and we are short of money to start with they have some tools to start with so l was wondering if you could donate one or two of your tools for the group,or any thing that is relating to woodworking l could collect if you wish if not too far.

Would you potentially be interested in some old tools that could do with some cleaning up? I’ve got a box of tools with some old wooden box planes, an auger drill and tin of rusty auger bits, wooden scribes an things. They came from my father in laws garage when he passed away and I rescued them from being dumped but I can’t see me doing anything with them. I’d have to check the weight of them for courier or you’re welcome to come and pick them up from near Derby. I don’t have any photos at the mo, but if you’re interested I can go and take some pics. They’re all at my storage unit a few miles from home. :thumbs:

What I did was give four heavy trailer loads of tools ,lathes,bench saws and after that heaps of timber to a mens group. They made me a life member.
