Colin, that chiyogami paper makes for a classy looking pen.
Did you cast it yourself?
I got some Chiyogami paper but it was too thin ( it was more like wrapping paper ) and the casting did not work.
I assume that yours is the real proper backed stuff ?
Did you get it in Oz?

Yes, I did, it's cloth - material, from a late friend's wife that makes patchwork quilts. We used to line the jewellery boxes we made at men's shed & he knew I liked Japanese styles.
She made this for a friend, out of her late husband's shirts. I love the idea
