Silver kits, friction polish finish (artificial light seems to have took the gloss away)

Its the Levels Matt that's what's wrong. You can do it on your camera but its much easier just to change it with an editing program after.

It would appear you have your lathe back Matt how did you get on with the dealer finally?

Like the pens its fun overcoming the photo bit isnt it. I find if you get them off the flat you get another dimension back.

Kind regards Peter.

Wrong matt I think? :thinks:

Yeah, the photo's are the hardest part, atm I just have my digital camera on a tripod with the pens on a white background infront of a window.

Thanks for the kind words all!

I've done them vertical and horizontal, next challenge is to try them diagonal at 45 degrees.

I never liked the vertical ones myself and never had much luck turning them due to the configuration of them.

Thanks!

Yes we will have to get some nicknames for the pair of you to save future confusion, how about doormat and mouse mat :nonono::nonono::nonono:

Try adding a spotlight to the equation it may help a lot.

I've tried a new photography setup, tested it with some acrylic gents i've just turned..pics will be in the relevant section :bwink:

Yellow light seems to really dull the picture but the white light, from LEDs and such reflect every thing so I will keep trying
