I want to make some concave recess in a large piece of wood.

First thought was to do some offset turning but it is  too big to put on a lathe also my injured digit will get in the way.

I though of grinding a spade bit to the required shape but the largest I can find is 40 mm I need 55 mm.

Any ideas?:thinks:
