Done 5 pens today. However three where identical to yesterday except reversed the fittings I.e. gold be came Silver and vice versa.
Tried to do 2 European pens but made a mistake on the first as took it slightly lower than the band.
The 2nd still not perfect but happy with the results. Gold fittings on Purple wood but didn't come out as bright as I have seen some pens...

Very nice mate,
If that's purple heart it will go back to a vivid purple with UV light, I leave my blanks on a window sill before finishing. Others cook them?? (not tried myself) :bwink:

Well I have finished it so don't think it will go back to a vivid colour.....
So now I have learnt something new today...
