Sorry to hear that Brian, they sound like a right shower. Hope you get something sorted soon.


My wife was in a similar situation when Care UK took over the NHS contract at the prison and immediately issued almost the whole workforce with "jobs at risk" 90 day notification which was bullying tactics as none would originally accept their new contract terms. It worked as it scared some of them to accept but the company soon realised they needed the staff and had to accept the TUPE regulations. Just as well 'cos they made a mess of it and lost the contract at the end of their 4 year tenure.

If I remember, the only way they can get around TUPE is to issue redundancy and it has to be genuine, not just fill the post with someone else.
