The Leveche is my go to FP kit, but if you think it premium, wait till you try the Mistral .....
As to your leveche, very nice.... my preferred shape too and nice finish.... Keep them coming. There is a sequence to follow when asembling fountain pens ( not needed on this one, but if you have spalted or pictured blanks) it ensures the placement of the nib, clip and grain alignment when assembled or cap posted.... I read it on here a few years ago and tbh I thought what a faff, but it's just a few steps and it makes a big difference.
Hi Dougie,
Lovely looking pen.Strangely enough I finished two Leveche today, also with the upgrade nib.Re the housing,it should screw in so that its nice and flush with the section. It might need the feed and nib pushing in a little further.NOTE the inside of the housing has a very small flat that the feed engages with.Look very closely and you will see it.Hope this helps.Do NOT try to push the housing into the section, you may ruin the threads.
All the best,
Geoff.
Hi Dougie,
I also like the Leveche pen kit and like Flexi, the Mistral kits are tops! Well done, fine looking piece and mahogany is a under rated wood.

Thanks Kelvin, can I ask, what is Flexi?
It's Mark, who wrote about Mistral pen kits above. His forum name is "Flexi"
