I finally got in the shed today for the first time in what feels like an eternity (actually since the middle of February)
I had a look around and found a piece of spalted beech just asking to be turned into a box.
This was my first box, which I wasn't happy with the finished item, it needed something else so I added a small finial of African Blackwood (a first as well).

Nice one mate. Love the shape of the box and the finial. And a great finish and grain match to boot.
