Someone kindly posted this on UK workshop forum and would be very helpful for those of us who would like to turn our dust extraction on/off remotely.

I have been using a similar type for tears now for both the DC and compressor.
My DC is out side the shed.

So useful a device in many places around the home, also one more remote to misplace.

I use heavy duty ones on all my machines. They work great.

They wont work on most new machines with the NVR switches but a good idea for other applications

great idea.. But As per Woody says, NVR equipment won't work with this...

I have been using a similar type for tears now :

I really didn't think that it would work for tears.., is it what you use when a pen turns out wrong then?..

I bought a pack mainly for the christmas tree lights, so that I don't have to get on my hands and knees to turn them on in the morning and off at night, perfect for that. I can't think of a use for the other 3 at the moment.

I removed the switch and reconnected the wires so the motor is all ways on.

I reused the switch on my drill press.

That is right Eamonn, all so the fact that I haven't been able to got out to my shed for over a month.
