Lidl today

Lidl are selling Digital calipers and angle finder today I have had both for a couple of years and found them both useful and accurate there are other stuff for the workshop too although I don't think the bench saw would be up to much :-

Often thought about getting one of these, but would want large read out screen.

I have about given up on digital calipers switching themselves on and off, battery life a etc in favour of analogue means.

I have the Parkside table saw from Lidl. I had to upgrade the blade but apert from that it does everything I want it to. Cuts through 3x2 oak on the 2inch side. Had it over a year, use it about 3 or 4 times per month and its never let me down.

For simple calculation of odd angles i.e skirting and odd angle frames these are quite good and completely analogue
