Has anyone tried one of the Ligero kits from Vince at Turners Workshop? I haven't seen them anywhere else to my knowledge and I've done a search on here to see if the subject has come up before but couldn't find anything. I was wondering what others think of the kit and the quality. I was thinking of trying a few but as they are quite expensive I didn't want to take too much of a gamble without checking here. :thinks::thumbs:

I still have some Ligero kits I bought from Craft Supplies USA some years ago and think they make stunning pens. I have not had any problems with the kits but don't know if the TW kits are the same ones.

Johnny, I will measure the bushings and post it later if you wish to make your own.

As promised, the Ligero bushes are as follows:- Cap o/d = 0.588" and Barrel = 0.600. Drill sizes are 31/64 & 17/32 or 12.3mm & 13.5mm.

Hope this helps

I have a few Ligero kits and have made a couple of pens. The kit looks good once assembled but the components feel a bit plasticky. Not saying they are plastic, mind you, that's just the sense I get. If that makes any? Sense, that is ...
