Well this commission for rollerballs and fountain pens was a real test, the wood was only just thick enough to use.
Very little room for error in drilling or finishing. It was only 14.5mm thick and that was the thicker pieces.
Lovely to turn and finish though even after being wrapped around a boats prop shaft for the best part of 100 years.
A very rewarding job to get finished and shipped.
