The only bowling ball I have had been mounted as a trophy the wood screw fixing broke off when trying to remove it and the grain is horrendous when it turns up again I will make a captive clamp to hold it and cut it up as a challenge mate turning them originally must have become quite an art if correct weight and bias considerations are to be accounted for. Watching World Championships it seemed forever for years on end some of those bowlers threw a fierce ball to clear the field so I guess they had to be tough. Just musing Paul thanks for the accidental nudge mate.
